Gadgets and ready to go...

Well, you would think that we are afraid of not communicating in China...

As of now, we are studying Mandarin with Rosetta Stone, which I am obsessed with. We have equipped ourselves with 2 major books on China with all the info you could ever want. Lonely Planet China 2009,
and The rough guide to China 4.

We also ordered an electronic English/Chinese translator that records your voice and translates it into chinese and vice versa. Cool little thing. It even has a scanner, so if you want to know if your olive oil is extra virgin, all you have to do is scan the writting on the package and "VOILA!!!!" it translates it for you. How cool is that!!! We could get lazy though...

We also have downloaded Garmin maps for China.
Oh !Oh! Oh!  And I have equiped myself with a Chinese Medicine book, cause, as many of you know, I'm into all that stuff...

Well with all that, hopefully, we won't get lost, we'll be able to communicate, if we get sick, we'll know what they are giving us, we can practice our Mandarin, and we'll have something to read ... : )

So I guess all we have to do is wait for Harrys work Visa... and we're ready to go...wowowowowoooooo

In the meantime, we see hope to sell our house..  we still have a couple of weeks.. Hey!  if anyone knows someone who wants a nice house in a great neighborhood, send them our way, will Ya?

Well the word for today is ( actually 3 words)    Yi (yee), er (R like the letter) , san.   Which means 1 2 3.
Now you know how to count to 3.

Happy Monday,

Pauline Out!!!! : )
