Preview to the movers....

The time has come......

They (the movers) will be here in one hour... Today, the moving company will bring a container and pack, wrap and box all items and personal effects that we wish to bring to China with us... These things might include toiletries, linens, dishes, pots and pans, Games , bicycles, golf clubs, books, ALL of our clothing, And NATURALLY ALLLLL of my sewing stuff!!!! And my artsy fartsy articles... I do intend to create while I am there...
It should be an interesting day... Our belongings will take 8 to 9 weeks to arrive at destination. In the meantime, we must take enough clothing, shoes, boots with us to last 8 to 9 weeks.. I might just get sick and tired of all the clothing I bring!!!

Tomorrow the packers will be back to pack up the remainder of our household, which will be going in storage. The storage company is here in Denver, so I guess it will give us that little feeling that a part of us will still be here...

Friday, they bring the big Semi and they load it up with our belongings. All of these steps take 1 day each. Long process HUH???

So while they will be packing and loading, we will be doing a bit of cleaning. OH, and checking them out to make sure they are doing a good job : )
Oh!! and we have to be sure that they do not pack our suitcases!!! : ) Now that would be an issue...

We will be also loading a truck that we will be driving to Arizona, on Friday night. This will contain a articles that we cannot store or bring to China. Things like liquids garage stuff ( gardening, lubricants, paint, oils etc ), food and a few things that we will be giving to Shawn and Sarah..

So, we will be leaving our home : (((( Friday night, arriving in Arizona Saturday. Spend 2 days with the kids and fly for China Tuesday the 13th. Spend 1 night in Hongkong, then on to Zhuhai. YIKES!!!!!

Just a note, we had our last vaccinations yesterday. And guess what??? Didn't hurt not one bit!!! Not even for Harry : ) hahaha...

Well your word of the day today is, "Hai zi" pronounced " hi ze" which means child. That's how I feel today, like a child about to start in a new school...

Zai jian ( BYE ) for now...

Pauline : )
