Shawn and Sarah, sitting in a tree....

K-I-S-S-I-N-G.... First comes love, Then comes marriage, then comes "maybe" baby "eventually" in a baby carriage!!! Hee hee....

Well that's what happened on a memorable DEC 26TH 2009!

My son Shawn and his fiance Sarah, became Mr and Mrs Shawn Liberge!!!!!

And guess what??? I officiated the ceremony!!! And I cried.....But was elated : )

Harry and I knew this was going to happen, and we were sworn to secrecy...

We prepared the house while everyone was gone... All of Sarah's family and Sandy thought they were coming to celebrate Christmas with us. NOT!!!!

We had everyone come in through the garage, not allowing them in the front area. We had blocked off that room, set up tables, decorated for Christmas theme wedding, set up the cake, and naturally Sarah was waiting in that room, all decked up in her wedding gear... (she looked like a goddess).

When everyone was there, we unveiled the area, and Sarah and Shawn said "SURPRISE"!!!!!!!!!! And " Welcome to our wedding" !

You should have seen their faces!!! They were SOOOOO confused!!!! Sarah's family were stunned. Sandy, our daughter knew there was something in the air, but she secretly believed  that Shawn would propose that night... Hee hee....Gotcha!!! Imagine coming to a Christmas party and to your surprise you are attending the wedding of your closest family member! Their jaws almost hit the floor!!!!!! There was tears and laughter and OMG's... and in the eventually, elation....

So we proceeded with the ceremony, which was so gentle, loving, and sincere... It was perfect....  (not because I was the one officiating it, but because it was small, impromptu, and just the right thing to do at the right time... ) hmmmmmmm.....and so much Love....

They had prepared their vows and shared what was in their heart. They exchanged  beautiful rings, symbols of infinity and eternity, kissed and were pronounced Mr and Mrs Shawn Liberge... Again there were more laughter and tears and moments of wonder... There was universal magic....

Harry and I have officially gained a daughter... and are very proud to call her  that ... She makes our son very happy and we could not ask for more...Our Family is now bigger, and our lives are richer for this... We are humbled and feel like the luckiest parents alive....We now have 2 daughters and 1 son...

So we drank Champagne, ate good food and celebrated love and life at its best...
And as many of you know, "we're experts at that" !!

Sarah and Shawn, may your life each day, grow rich with Love, respect, friendship, and kindness... may you grow old together and have a family of your own that you can love, as much as we love you....

Gentle Hugs,

Pauline.... xoxoxoxo

P.S  Hey Tyler... It's your turn next.....

Your word of the day is..Especially for you Sarah and Shawn...

Wu Xian , pronounced "woo tsian" meaning "INFINITY"
